As we navigate the new complexities of life with COVID19 and its variants, we all still need the benefits of bodywork. Luckily, our COVID practices make coming in to the office safe, however some bodywork CAN be done at a distance. If you can't make it into the office, consider trying Distance Work - you can convert your appointment to Distance work if you can't come in due to illness..
When it comes to our relationship - our Massage Therapist/Client relationship - I believe that my role is that of facilitator. I help your body find its ease; I don't force it to do anything. I cooperate with you in your healing journey, and I understand that it is only by working with you that I can help you achieve your goals.
I understand that pain is a sign that something is wrong - even during a body work session. I will work with you to discover the most effective pressure for your body, so that you can achieve lasting results. At every step, I work with you -- healing can only happen when you are part of the process.
I also understand that no single type of bodywork works for all people. That's why I work with you to determine which modality works best with your body at the time of your session. Whether you originally booked for Zero Balancing, CranioSacral Therapy, Healing from the Core, Massage, or any other modality, I will gladly switch gears if we agree that a different one will work better on the day you come in.**
Additionally, I believe that the best care for my clients happens when all of the people working with them are working together; I am ready, willing and able to coordinate and cooperate with other health care professionals to achieve your goals.
To ensure that every client has the best opportunity to receive a safe and positive experience, this office will operate with these protocols while COVID-19 is still present in our community. They include requirements for masking, and for current vaccinations or current negative tests.
Finally, as of February 2023, I am booked out at least four weeks , and often six weeks in advance. I do maintain a wait list, and contact the people on that list in the event I have a cancellation. I do not currently offer online booking - but you may request an appointment time here.
**I cannot switch to Hot Stone Therapy without 24 hours advance notice.
